Review of Board’s guidelines

The Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (the Board) is reviewing its Guidelines on safe Chinese herbal medicine practice and Guidelines on infection prevention and control for acupuncture and related practices.

Public consultation on the Board’s revised guidelines is now open until 4 March 2022. The consultation paper and attachments are available on the Board’s consultations page. 

There is no change to the rules but rather, the documents have been updated with the latest information and made clearer and easier to understand. In the meantime, the existing guidelines remain in force.
